Maplestory on Windows 7 Home Premium

Hey guys im wondering if theres anyway i can play maplestory on windows 7 home premium? Ive tried a few ways such as changing the compabitility but that didnt work. Thanks for the help, also Im thinking of starting in Galicia and I want to boss plus be helpfull would it be better to be a Dragon knight or a white knight

Hey, I'm using 7 as well, but I have no issues at all with playing Maple. I really don't understand what all the mess is everywhere about "OMG I can't play maple on windows 7! halp!" I've also played on Vista, and had no issues at all. The only thing I had to do was unblock hackshield from the firewall and turn off the annoying "maplestory.exe wants to run. allow? yes/no" thing. As to the other question on bossing- Most warrior-bossers are Drks, not White/Palys.

The issue as it stands right now for maple with windows 7 is that its 64-bit apparently. Of course you can download and play it, but certain things are messed up. Pretty much the only thing you would ever have to worry about is D/C'ing at a major boss such as zakum or horntail. Its kind of explained on one of their other games sites (Dungeon fighter) about how when they develop a game they have to make sure it works on all OS's and all sorts of hardware/software setups. But the thing is, windows 7 and 64-bit stuff came out a while after maplestory so you could imagine how hard it would be for them to make all of maplestory 64-bit capable. Don't worry. Get the computer, but try and find a windows XP disc or something to use instead of windows 7 if D/C'ing at bosses will kill you.

i always d/c on windows 7 professional and this is computer use to be vista(until i upgraded) and i never d/ced on vista. Although on vista I never went on any boss runs like zak.

I have a friend who uses windows 7 premium. Idk why but it d/cs him randomy and doesnt run maple properly. It still works though. Maplestorys supposed to fix it soon though

Windows 7 Premium is a pain.... Try not to play Maplestory on it since its not compatible.
