Why are stirgeman pants so expensive?

Is there a reason why everybody's buying stirgeman pants right now? I saw a guy saying the H/O for his pants was 1.6B and it's just clean, not potentialed or anything. The stats don't look all that great o_O.

Because you have to play some irl card game of maplestory to get them making them rare. Other than that its just for looks

The pants are the only way bowman, pirates and magicians can wear pants asides from android legs. Some people are cubing them for the Decent HB skill and others just want them as equips since android legs can't be retraded once they're worn.
