Killing Big Foot Pre Balance Patch?

No balance patch in EMS yet. Crimsion wood just got put into the files, so everyones guess is its the next patch. What level do I need to kill Bigfoot fairly effectively with and without the balance patch (it could come with it). No potential items either. At the moment I'm 151 with 9800hp Maxed blast 10 MW Maxed charges Maxed ACB 20 Stance 1 rush 5 HH Yeah its hard to get skill books considering I'm in the less populated server so HT hasn't been killed yet, so my skill build is weird. Also is 30 stance really worth the extra 10 points for 10% less knockback? Or should I just try get 20 HH as soon as possible, or start adding some points in rush to stop ksers? I may just no life grind this week as I have no commitments and get 160 so that I'm number 1 paladin on my sever (current is 155 and not grinding), as I'm taking a break after this week for RL commitments.

You should already be able to kill him efficiently, just make sure to have PG on at all times. Threaten helps too. Can't give much advice on the skill build, though.

[/quote] I thought Bigfoot hits about 11k after PG? And he said pre-balance patch, so Threaten doesn't work on Bigfoot.

After PG you recieve about 8-9k damage so you will survive. You need to pin him and find the sweet spot where he keeps jumping and you can spam blast. You are sorted, I've been killing since 138 without all these skill advantages.

[/quote] It works actually, problem is it only takes off 20 atk out of....the hundreds o____O Stick to Stance20, 10% isn't that amazing and would be better used elsewhere. Just learn to keep your distance so that you can 3hit it every jump. Don't bother with HH unless you have really bad gear (and end up with less than 7k range)

You should be ok but sometimes bf ohkos you even with 9.8k+ hp (I've had it happen to me before :X) efemera threaten does work on bosses pre balance patch. It's just the effects are different (-20 attack and defence at a 100% success rate instead of -20% attack, defence and accuracy at a 50% success rate.) It does do something pre balance patch - but its effects are barely noticeable. Wow everyone ninja's me at once... *hits skrato and yuenlung*

Equips aren't great, because like I said newest server in EMS. We just got StoneTooths so I'm looking to upgrade to one as soon as some come through in the server. Hit 152 today, and 70%. Hopefully 154 tomorrow, so should defintely be 160 by time it comes out. Is it effective trainning killing bigfoots? Bare in mind my server is empty and the #1 NL trains on anego's, so I'm guessing it will be even easier to find BF's.

[/quote] You should 100% be training on bigfeet right now if they are easy to find. You have 20 stance - you will use close to zero pots and have extremely efficient training sessions especially if you can't dedicate a long time, you will kill BF in 10 mins getting 1.5mil exp IIRC. You can also sell leech but I hear that in EMS that isn't great profit due to nerfed leeching.

Leech is nerfed to 40:60 ratio. Also I'm hoping that 10 mins without potential lol. I'm thinking it will be more around 15-25mins but we'll see. Also HB mule requires effort as I can't multilog as I'll be in dorms soon with just a laptop. Ty for advice everyone.

You could make a mint out of selling bf leech! It's probably going to be pretty popular. Lucky you for living in an underpopulated server xD I regret choosing KradiaEMS... might move to deme if I feel like staring over again... Anyway it may help for you to watch some bf videos as well so you can see how to handle them, but you should kill them pretty quick even in EMS :P
