1h sword vs 2h sword?

the titles my question i know that 2h sword always do more raw dmg but 1h swords add armor AND speed is the armor noticeable and is the speed useful i plan to be a page if that helps please answer all my questions and tell me if your being biased XD.

With the potential system, having more items is better and so 1h is better by quite a margin. But as a page nothing really matters. Use a jap map.

1. 1hand Sword doesn't add defense. It's the shield you're gona be able to wield that will give you the defense. 2. 2hand Sword does 9% more damage than 1hand Sword strictly on a multiplier basis, assuming each weapon has the same atk rating. 3. The only advantage 1hand sword has over 2hand sword is the ability to equip a shield for more stat points in various areas. 4. Most of the time 1hand sword has the higher speed (accounts for 10% more damage roughly), this depends on the speed of the 2hand sword.
