So I'm noticing my damage is pretty...well...atrocious to be honest. my range is only 1384~2440 and max strafe only does around 7k avg with all four shots put together. I don't think my equips are THAT bad, but I mean, training is REALLY slow with my damage, my lvl 92 aran can way outdamage my ranger already. Equips: 15 all stat Zhelm 10 atk wg 110 shiner bow 1atk immortal belt 2atk, 4str, 6dex PAC and my overall and shoes are +8 visitor dex equips... lol so with that said, can anyone else share their damage so i can compare? I feel like my damage is really under average.

The Shiner Bow is pretty weak. I can barely stand my 121 att Golden Nisrock (failed Hammers grrr) You might want to consider making a serious upgrade. Also, your base STR may be too high. Try to stay below 60. To do this, you may want to try and get a Red Belt (The Pharaoh equivalent but actually gives stats) STR earrings and an overall with at least 15-18 DEX and % Dex potential. This is easy when you have Maker 3, just strengthen an Advanced DEX crystal and make a nice overall, then POTENTIAL it!

When I was lvl 114 I had a 106 atk nisrock. I think you're good with your equips. Don't listen to that Plzophet, he's just a dmg freak. Listen to me, and you'll be lvl 140 in no time

In all seriousness, I have an unhammered Fire Arund with 114 Att for sale in my shop, I don't understand why 110 for a lvl 110 bow would be considered okay in this era of Maplestory. That's like two 60's and the rest 100's... its not even trying!

[/quote] I bought 9 Pink scrolls... right now you can get them for 3x the price of 30% Scrolls if you ask the right people. It's a lot to pay, but totally worth it knowing your item won't boom after landing a few. If you have terrible luck you might even save meso in the long run!

Your equip is much better than the average ranger [unfunded]. My thoughts are that your equipments are above and any higher would needed to be funded for massive mesos/nx. Since you're level 114, getting a MoN would be the best thing for you. +5 in everything and 9-12 weapon attack. The bow I used since level 95 was an dark arund which I got it to 103. I've always been alrigth with funding but never tried to make meso. I checked my MTS and I have 7 GFA 60% and 10 Bow 60%, 3 Shoe for jump 60%... The only thing my equipment would beat yours would be your Zhelm. Mine has 20+Dex and 3% Dex (yeah crazy I regular potential scrolled my equips[5/5 regular potential scrolls worked for me so far]). Getting the MoN would probably allow you to get like 9k-12k damage with strafe in total and with Se you'll probably be hitting like 15ks+. By the way I would go with doepo 's suggestion and take it easy, it is just a game and you don't need to put nx/meso and stress about it. The other guy is probably rich in real world like a few people I know...or a gold-digger in maple. Edit: Another note, Arans are strength while Archers are speed. Don't forget that. Its kinda obvious attacking at close range will do more damage but archers have speed to make up for the damage. (Arans DPS is sightly higher than archers now but after BB patch we're near top again.) Yeah.. Archer Pride~

[/quote] I'm talking about the scrolling every1 has done normally before. before, 50% scrolls were a lot of mesos, and after a few weeks 50%s will be normal prices again.
