Opinions on expensive wrist watches?

I think they are for bragging rights on how much you will pay for knowing what time it is and or trying to get robbed. I would just use my phone, I'm not that lazy that can't reach into my pocket.

I wear wrist watches, but not expensive ones, the most expensive one I have is a Skagen leather watch, and I barely ever use it. I want to get a pocket watch with the gears showing though, maybe because of my fascination with steampunk.

They look cool, they're an accessory now but back then they we're one of the few ways you could check the time. I like casio G-shock watches but I don't own one, although I'd really like to own a whole bunch of them. Lot's of rolex's look really cool too.
