i read somewhere, that after the big bang, you need LUK to actually hit the monster, but im not excatly sure..

Well, considering the fact that M.ATK is way more effective than INT post-BB, being a LUKless battle mage isn't such a good idea.

No after BB Magic atk is greater than int so being lukless would make you weaker
11penguin11 : No after BB Magic atk is greater than int so being lukless would make you weaker
This is not true. Just because your statless doesn't mean you can't wear higher level equips, ESPECIALLY with potential items giving up to +10 of any particular stat per potential slot (2-3). Your primary stat is worth FOUR TIMES more than your secondary stat in value, so being stat-less is still the way to go if you can AFFORD to equip higher level equips. If you can't afford it, go with low-stat or normal build.

To everyone saying you just need your lvl:Thats wrong, REALLY REALLY WRONG. The new accuracy formula is still as most people say based on level for the most part, HOWEVER, if your accuracy does not equal up to or greater than the monsters avoid, then you will miss even if you are above the monsters level. With that being said low-stat is still very feasible, but statless of any kind is not.

SwordStaker - don't forget potential items give +Accuracy ... tops, bottoms, overalls, gloves, shoes and earrings actually give Accuracy % ... it's not out of the question to go statless, it's just difficult to find the balance of what you can and can't hit while still maintaining the most damage possible without knowing exactly how it's going to be calculated.

It depends on whether or not you want to be weaker than reg/lowluk mages in the levels where they get new weapons and you don't. In the end, though, Lukless will be better because of Visitor weapons and that Lukless level 13x ele wand (assuming that it doesn't nerf Neutral element... BMs are neutral for the most part right?)
