kirayamato26Project Site PDR = Physical Damage Reduction, you see it here, please do not post asking what it is If you want an introduction, here it is. I moved most of the math. Just a note for those of you who say that this is a lot of numbers: I did not calculate each and every single one of them, I just derived a general formula, wrote a Python script, and automated it. kirayamato26
FFVIISephy : What do you mean by PDR?
Physical Damage Reduction, it replaces defense post-BB.

Am I to take this to mean that heroes using brave slash will definitely outdamage Paladins? I'm not certain about all the numbers and what situations they apply to.

kirayamato26
Gardor : What is the point to this, sorry?
To gather information about the classes and discover situations in which they excel in. You could say that I'm trying to make a high accuracy DPM chart.
vroomvroomha : So umm...Whose better?
Read the thread and draw your own conclusions, you'll have to do that someday.
Skrato : Am I to take this to mean that heroes using brave slash will definitely outdamage Paladins? I'm not certain about all the numbers and what situations they apply to.
You could take it like that. The 50% PDR category is the most important one for bossing. These figures are for fire weak monsters (aka BF, Pianus): Blast Fire Dual Charge, Advantage: 100%, Lightning Advantage: 100%, PDR: 50%, Critical Rate: 5%, Min Crit: 20%, Max Crit: 50% Faster 2: 86617.550957%/min Faster 3: 79085.590004%/min Fast 4: 72758.742804%/min Fast 5: 69960.329619%/min Normal 6: 64963.163218%/min Slow 7: 60632.285670%/min Slow 8: 56842.767816%/min Slower 9: 56842.767816%/min And here's Brave Slash: Brave Slash (1vs1), PDR: 50%, Critical Rate: 5%, Min Crit: 20%, Max Crit: 50% Faster 2: 125120.000000%/min Faster 3: 114240.000000%/min Fast 4: 105100.800000%/min Fast 5: 101058.461538%/min Normal 6: 93840.000000%/min Slow 7: 87584.000000%/min Slow 8: 82110.000000%/min Slower 9: 82110.000000%/min Theoretically speaking, a Hero using a slower 9 sword (doesn't exist) would do more DPM than a Paladin with a fast 4 one.
Right.. but in the Paladin section it says advantage is 100%, shouldn't the element advantage be 150%? I'm just trying to understand how your tables work.

I think you have the intelligence to compare 6 digit numbers (plus 6 decimals) and to tell which one is the greatest. Edit: @Skrato Whoops. That's helling embarrassing.
Ok, I've got it. That's very reassuring, that Nexon has balanced the two classes to have similar damage on fire-weak again. That means that Paladins won't be too high up the DPM charts for neutral and so not too overplayed. I'm looking forward to being a defensive class!
