Which Laptop Should I Get?

Hi basil! I'm Getting a New Laptop This year and i Was Wondering Which i Should Get? My Uses of it Would include, � Maplestory � Web Surfing � Flash Games � Computer Programming [HTML, CSS] Really Want Mac for This � GFX, [Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash] � MSN � Web chat � School Work � Other Game's ��- Split Second �- COD - Counter Strike �- Halo 1 �- Etc Such Game's ------------------------------------------------------------- So Far, I have it Done to Three Choices 1. Alienware M17x 2. Asus G73Jh -X1 3. Macbook Pro ------------------------------------------------------------- Help Me Out Here Guy's Also, Feel Free to get techie! Please Comment as Well

Define "other games" but for maple all of those are overkill.

Depending on what the other games will be, I find that a $600-ish laptop would be suited for you.

I wouldn't get a Mac book pro cause of possible compatibility issues and especially for gaming. There are better laptops out there for that. I personally don't like the operating system.

What kind of games would you be playing? If anything that requires a bit more power than the average laptop, I'd say Asus.

Other Game's Include. Split Second Halo 1 COD Black Op's & Modern Warfare 2 Counterstrike Starcraft 2 Blur Assassin Creed 2&3 And so on

what specs are you going to put on the M17x when you customize it?

Then I would go with the Asus G73. Other alternatives you could look at are the MSI E7405 or MSI GX740.

I'll Have about 4-6 GB RAM, and a 500 GB hard drive, also one Radeon 1 GB card video card or So

If your very heavy on graphics design, then the Macbook Pro would probably be more suitable for you.

@above, It is Really Easy On The MAC, also way more utilitys and stuff. I Think I'll Choose Between The Asus or The Macbook pro

By the way, there's nothing special about programming on the Mac. Unless you're coding in Objective C, which I doubt unless you're an iPhone dev, you'll actually have more choices using the Asus. Btw, HTML and CSS isn't really programming... it's more like webpage design.
