Why is it haram or why is it wrong for Muslims to play pokemon?

I assume evolution, maybe ghosts, I know the Pokemon labeled 'Dieties' caused problems in most religions, but I cant imagine that THAT many people would be prohibited from playing it. I wonder if Mario would be prohibited if he got brown bottles instead of mushrooms XD
