Im confused about potentials

so why is a three line so important even if your going to cube it? doesnt the lines reset to? i am very confused.

No. If an item is potentialed and it has two lines, that means it will ALWAYS have two lines, no matter how many times you cube it. And of course, three lines is always better than two.

You answered your own question... 3 lines are important because when you cube they dont reset.
