Do Str-less archer's have to wear str equips?

It's not like str gives them accuracy or anything...can they scroll their stuff for dex, or is it necessary to scroll for str?

str is necessary to wield bows D: Unless you have an amazing kandiva, or cao, yeah you need str

My base str is 50 and I have 100 str after equipment if that helps. If you are strless you dont need any str though, you just cant wear bows that require str

A str-less archer would wield a Kandiva or Cao. A low str archer would make up for lacking str by using str equips to wield high level bows.

I have 50 str base and i wear a nisrock that needs 105 str Im still upgrading with all this potential equips so i might lower my str slowly

Best way to do it is to just be normal STR and as you get equips that give STR (Dep star, black belt, Zak/Scar helm) etc, you then just not add the points in there? STR is only needed for our bows, so just follow your bow's as a per bow basis.

no. they'd use a kandiva til 87 from which they'll use the visitor bows. no need to add str ever

Aren't strless archers kinda bad...? Well anyways, back to the point. Most Strless wear a godly Kandiva, or Cao Cao...but that only could last so long til they need something better. My honest opinion: you're better off low-str, cuz in the end...normal or low str beats strless, cuz they can equip the higher level, stronger bows. EDIT: There could be a possibility for a strong strless now...cuz there is a visitor event bow out.

[/quote] That maybe true; correct me if I'm wrong but I think that the new visitor bows can not be potentialed? Is that true? If it is true then timeless/reverse weapons have better potential to be better.

Well, since visitor stuff has come into play, I guess you would just use your kandiva, then after that, you'd use the lvl 87 visitor weapon, and the final VIP weapon. This basically makes the power of true lukless, dexless, and strless come back into action. Warriors don't count.

@everyone Hm. So far, it sounds like Low-str is better, but then again, the Visitor equipment is out..

[/quote] Tough to say, considering the scroll rates, but with the equip enhancements and potential out, yeah, Reverse can be better. There's alot to consider when it comes to Visitor VS Reverse, such as what the average person would do with these bows. Scroll? Potential? Equip enhance til it blows up? Or will this person play it safe? Things like this can weigh or outweigh the outcome of which bow is better. I would say though, if the person took the risk...Then yes, a reverse bow can be better. But wait, I thought ALL slot-ed items can be potentialed. this COULD mean that visitor bows could be potentialed... I don't know this for sure though.

My girlfriend is a strless BM who uses a reverse. With HTN/potentials it's not as hard.

Tough descision. If the visitor bows can be potentialed, then strless could work. But that's the thing. Can they?
