Potential my Z-helm?

So, since I live under a rock and all of course I was the last one to find out you can make Z-helms 'Hidden Potential' So after learning about this, I was thinking about trying it out, buuuut... since this is my first Z-helm, and I've only had it for a few short hours :C I don't know if I should.. I hear they have a 70%, and a 90% chance of working, if not.. it blows your item up... D: So my question to you guys is: Should I do it? If yes, then which scroll should I use on it? 70% or 90%?

i always failed 90% scrolls failed 3 in a row and told myself never using again i have never failed 70% and have used about 10 of them P.S this is for potential, 70% dark scrolls i never pass

I never failed a 90% or a 70% I used 6 70%s and 4 90%s Fix you luck @above

yes use 90% to make sure, they're only about 25m atm. I've had a bad run of 70%'s recently.

@ Lantagonist Terible luck D: that must suck... I really need the stats, 90% chance of working sounds nice... but it's all luck, I however lack Luck... I really don't want to scroll something with a 90% scroll, and be one of the what? 3/10 people who blew their Z-helm up D: I'll buy a 90% scroll, and try my luck later on I guess...

people always complain when things blow up. but people don't complain when things work It just "seems" as though 90%'s dont work often cos every time they dont (1/10 ish), someone will come along and complain. Most of them do work, especially for me, I've potentialled about 15 items all with 90%'s, and every single one worked except for my poor varkit...

Here is a general rule when scrolling: If a scroll can blow up your item, then only scroll if you can afford the loss. In this case, if you can afford a new zhelm, do it. If not, then dont.

I boomed my zhelm and potentialed my Ravana. Both with 70s. As above, my advice is to wait if you can't afford to replace it now.
