i personally dont understand y people say maplers ages 18+ r loser. i understand a word comes to mind when u think of an adult online gamer. but lets not forget that the avg age of a "gamer" is 36 years old. if the person is 18+ and says they r 18+ i think they must be some pretty cool adults to still be down with teh video games. i dunno maybe its jsut me. Btw im only 15, im not defending myself in this thread im defending people who r 2 mature to defend themselves (and im bored)

Because when you turn 16 you're supposed to ditch all of your old hobbies, buy a car, and drive away into the sunset. Obviously. An 18 year old who hasn't done that yet is just insane .

They usually get bad rep in a game like Maplestory mostly because it's meant for the young teen range. Most adult gamers play things like FFXIV, COD, etc.

It's because we can? It relieves stress for a low amount of cash and since you're older, you probably have more experience in games making you better than everyone else. And when you're better than everyone else you continue playing for a massive ego boost even though it's just a game. I dunno, I'm 17.

the mass feeds on misconceptions and are largely unaware of other presences besides themselves and their peers of about the same age group. but that's ok, once they grow old enough they'll understand. at least most of them anyway.
