She lost it for marrying another woman. She works at the private Catholic school, so it is against the school's religion and somehow that made it legal? I don't really understand how, but apparently it is... She was given the choice between resigning and being fired. She chose to resign, but I think this is completely unfair. What do you guys think about same sex marriage? Edit: My mistake with the title, it's not MY school, but it's a school in my city.

A bit off topic, but two [female] teachers at my old high school (graduated this year) got fired because they got caught doing stuff in a classroom (while SING was going on, if any of you know what that is). It was all over the news and everything. Anyway, back on topic, I think that's absolutely ridiculous. People should be allowed to do what they want to do.

Well, private schools aren't bound by state law, so they can pretty much make the rules.
