| 3 Lines just means the item has a chance to have better potential. ie instead of 6% STR/DEX/INT/LUK and 3% all stats from a 2 line you could have 6% all stats, 3% STR/DEX/INT/LUK and 3% all stats on a 3 line. Recubing is just using cubes to reset potential. |

| 3 line potentials are where, they have 3 effects to them, if you re-cube them,it resets the effects but you still have 3 lined, nomatter what effects you get from re-cube, its still 3 line. |

| 3 line potential are the best out of any potential item because if you cube it, u get it hidden potential and u still with hold the 3 lines so u have a higher chance of getting good stats on an item with 3 lines re-cubin is making it hidden potential and using magniflying glass to show its potential if u dont like it, cubing it makes it hidden potential |

| So you just need to be lucky and get 3 lines the first time you reveal potential? |

| Well some poeple claim that when going from Rare > epic or Epic > unique the item can gain a line, but idk... and i'm curious, Has anyone seen an item with something like 6%/6%/3%? or do they only ever come out well i guess for 71+ 9%/6%/6%? |

|
TrinityFairy : So you just need to be lucky and get 3 lines the first time you reveal potential?
Yes. You can never change a 2-line potential into a 3-line potential regardless of how godly the other stats are, even if you throw all the NX in the world at it. (And vice-versa, you cannot change a 3-line into a 2-line!) |

| Example to show why 3 lines are coveted : 2 Line = Max Unique = 9% + 9% 3 Line = Max unique = 9%+9%+9% Thus 3 lines mean a better item when you cube . Unfortunately, the lines remain unchanged so you must have a 3 lined item ideally before cubing. People who potted their existing gear ended up with 2-3 lines depending on their luck . |

|
thanhtu : so, can u change a 1,2 line to 3 line?
No. The lines never change no matter how much you cube it. If it starts at 2 lines it will remain 2 lines until the end of the world. And even then, it'll still be 2 lines. |

| It's where Michael Jordan tries to sink in a 3 pointer but epically fails. OT: 3 Stats on your potential, and recubing is resetting potential. |
