People tell me archers jobs suck

so first time i was in lpq and some1 tell me " bowman jobs are pretty useless" n i was like "ok" then i go to cpq and some1 says " oh poor (then he says my ign) cpq hard for u hunters " i was like y ? he said "speed and summons " i was like "knock back ?" so wat i mean are they rlly useless and suck ?

I doubt most of the posts about 2 hitting trojans unless you have 21 att BWG and 100 ATT Maple Searcher. Truth is Bowmans are a pain in the ass to train from 1-120. They are just as slow as Priests when they train. After, it doesn't even get much easier. It's pretty sad but the great part is bowmans are a class that could train on bosses.

Yep we sure do suck! Our Sharp Eyes makes criticals happen a lot more(in simpler terms) Our hurricane only shoots 8 arrows a second, so bad i know and we definitely suck at bossing, am i right? >.> Whoever said that are ignorant and don't know to to think before talking

[/quote] Trojans have what? Like 4k HP? I can even one hit them on my sinny, which only has a 100%ed dex sauna robe, a 6atk wg, and a clean special lvl50 claw.

Yeah, bowmen suck until third job. Hell, even in third job, we're still behind mostly everyone. We're the only class with archer pride, so pick up that bow and shoot away. Our class is one of the best when we get the fourth job. Trust me, once you get there, you'll get the respect you deserve.

You must be patient to be a bowman 1st and 2nd job ppl might think u suck but once u are in 3rd job U willBe spamming AR till they cry and after bigbang 2nd jo will also be great

[/quote] If I was still level 50 and in your world, I would go to those people and show them bowmen are strong. (No one could out-damage me) Then they would try to make bowmen since they sound like people who think they can out damage everything. (Or want to)

I made a strless archer and a friend made a dexless sin. We both had lv 13 BotF and a 14 att wg, similar dex/luk earrings, and a 10 dex robe. She ended up outdamaging me by about 300 damage per hit. On the plus side, I could mob.

I guess being an archer is more of a preference and play style for everyone else. We have mad patience and we ain't so bad at 4th job

For me its about weapons, and i like expensive weapons so bows aint my style but bowman do deal pretty crazy dmg
