Why we should play Ms at school essay

Well, my teacher says that if we can make a suitable essay that tells us why we should play MS during school, he will actually let us play for a while! So, I would like to focus on... I believe business is a good example of why we should play Maple, because it TEACHES us how to do business. As you see with events and such, items may vary in costs, and you can decide (with virtual money) what to buy, and if you are smart, you can end up with more money than before. Also, merchanting is a good example of how we should buy low, and sell high.. Also it teaches how to manage your money, such as buying a store to sell your items. The dedication to this game is also a good example of why we should play. "Leveling Up" is not easy, so it requires dedication so you can push yourself forward, even if it is for hours.. This is a very good technique which can teach you how to spend hours in real life, working at school, doing the extra mile, etc. For every couple of levels, we can "advance" to do greater things. I relate this to real life school (1stJob-Preschool, 2ndjob- Elementary, 3rd Job- Junior High and High School, and 4thJob-College and on) The 1st Job I can relate to preschool, because like Maple, you do not know many "skills" and the actual training is pretty easy. The 2nd Job is elementary, where you know a few more skills, but still is pretty inexperienced. Also, training gets a lot harder, but you start learning how to interact more. The 3rd job is a teenager, because this is when you start to learn more skills in life, and this is when training gets a lot harder. But also, you socialize more (Get into Guilds) and start doing team runs, where you work together to pass the bosses or tests ahead. And finally, the 4th job, which is like college, and on. This is when there are no excuses, training is super hard and if you don�t focus, you will never get past a level. This is also when you become the most respected in the whole world, people will think of you as mature, and you have to start living with dedication. This game is also known for its unique �jobs.� There are 20+ jobs which you can become, which can fit what you want to be. Do you like hitting close range with tremendous amounts of damage, or do you like having high accuracy, and also deadly, or would you want to become a stealth like guy who hits at high speeds with high damage? There are tons to choose from and you don�t have to pick one. This game can also socialize with other people, in a very fun way! You can work together on Team runs, or just chill and just talk! Maple is a great way to socialize with friends, or just make new ones. Guys this is just a really quick brainstorm, I literally wrote this down in like 10minutes and never checked grammar or etc. so please dont be mean about the essay structure it self, it is just a bad Rough Draft! You actually did a decent job of putting together some viewpoints, but there is no educational reason to play maple. The majority of people will never actually "merch" in real life. You do a job, earn money, and buy something you want. When youre done youre probably going to sell it for a way lower price or toss it. The dedication aspect doesnt really apply since people can be dedicated as heck to video games or some hobby, and never learn to be dedicated to things that they need to be dedicated to, homework, school etc. The leveling up and job points arent too bad actually, since you can sort of relate to how life gets harder or more challenging the further you progress through it, but there still isnt a solid "real word" learning experience. Of course this is just my opinion, again youve actually done a good job putting an educational spin on MS

If i was ur teacher, i'd say yes because im inherently a nice person. Good Luck though!

Lacks thesis, informal tone, the " signs are not necessary, lacks proper introduction, remove the parenthesis, so on and so forth; unless you're teachers expectations are low and don't require proper essay formatting. That being said, referring to your question, you should expand on its encouragement of social interaction with new people and friends alike; instead of talking over the phone, you can actually play together and enjoy each others company without needing to arrange a meet up in real life (and go do party quests and boss runs, as you mentioned). You should also consider expanding on the 'business' aspect of maplestory with sudden inflation and deflation. You also become more socially aware as you differentiate between people who may potential harm you and help you. Uh, that's all I can think of at the moment. o.o Edit: if you're a junior, you should really consider rewriting your essay; not to be harsh. Unless it's not graded, then it doesn't matter. (:

[/quote] this is not entirety true, I can balance my time playing maple since I reached the 2nd semester of junior year, and I became more productive and got staright A's! I learned to limit, play only when I have the time. Also I have seen many successful people going into UC's while they play maple, but they balanced it out.

Haha, I think the only thing MS has done for me is make me a faster typer, which is good for essays and stuff.
