Do you think basil should allow sell art requests?

To the wonderful and fantabulous artists out there on basil, do you think Basil should allow "selling art requests?" because as far as I know, I've been rejected many times for trying to do so. :P

My answer is no. Wouldn't it be better to visit a GFX specialized website, rather than buying it from here? Also, people can scam here.

There are other websites out there for that, like DeviantArt. You can buy their art and stuff. And there are plenty of other ways to sell art. You can even send a PM to some art dude on Basil and ask him if he could do some art for you for a commission. About scamming, there are always dishonest people everywhere but Basilmarket is not the place to sell items in return for cash officially.

if someone wants to commission artwork and is using basil to contact buyers i don't see what's wrong with that.

Heck, if I were a great artist, I'd sell a drawing for mesos or NX. Why not? Now since I'm more of a writer than an artist... :/ What can I do? Sell spots in my stories? Write a poem? X_x;

I have done some "Maple" commissions during BETA TEST, where I was paid mesos for sketches...back when everyone was crammed into one server. But seeing the impracticality of that, I just do normal commissions. Some of them have paid in NX because they did not have paypal. *shrug* Still...if you want to commission through basil, I don't think you should.

lol commissions = work . . . i've almost never been able to force myself to finish a pic f4 but for ppl like kynim and dozuujo i think that might work for them? who knows . . . .
