I'm curious about how many here in basilmarket actually do accept and reject it :] Please, I know it's very hard for the basil community, but I beg you to answer seriously. If any of you want, your free to write a comment about why or why not you stand the way you do. And if anyone is interrested we might be lucky to have a little friendly debate :] EDIT Sorry if I wasn't specific enough, when I say evolution I mean it in scientific terms which is both macro and micro.

Seeing how I accept all other theories like it, such as gravity, and accept that the logic behind science is sound (as it is, indeed, using the same logic that tells us that other human beings exist and are not figments of our imagination), I do believe in evolution.

OT: Evolution itself is happening everywhere. Now the theory of every living thing coming from a single organism is a different story. I believe that there is something in between evolution and a higher power.

I do accept it, although I am Christian. I'm not sure if that's possible, but it's just what I believe.

You need to be more specific. Are you refering to macro or micro evolution? Essentially, macro evolution is the theory that we all orgininated from one species. Micro evolution is the theory that all the different species originated from single ancestors (I really didnt explain that right). What I'm trying to say about micro is that all the variety of birds we see today came from a single species of bird; same with all of the other species. Edit: Oops. Forgot to put my stance on the issue. I'm a believer in micro evolution but NOT macro.
