You gotta leave your computer on and go afk for 5 hours before the 200% exp bonus. What a waste of electricity.

Yea because those 104 lvls you expended playing your pirate saved so much electricity, and you lvl 70 aran, lvl 50 evan, lvl 50 slinger etc.

Def. a waste, specially on our current idiosyncrasy, that aims towards energy saving and 'save the planet' views. Sometimes this events are not well-planned. Just a way to generate fake traffic in their servers so they can inflate their numbers probably....
