Preparing for inactivity

Alright, so I plan to go inactive once school starts (in about 5 days). I'll be on significantly less but still frequently enough to manage my guild and stuff (Maybe find time to log on for an hour a day). I plan to make up lost progress in forms of merchanting. Since I won't be playing as much, should I sell my gear so i'll have more resources to merch with? (If I do this I won't be able to train or APQ effectively, or be able to do anything in particular that requires good damage.) I'll be able to make more profit over time, however, sacrificing any potential exp gain on my character Or, should I keep my gear and merch during my inactivity with what I have? (Ample enough, but my funds won't increase as fast)

.. I'm not good at merchanting so I'd say keep your gear, merch with less, and upgrade gradually. Also, you shouldn't have put the last option there because people are going to click it just for the heck of it...

Haha just sell your Maplestory account for real money, a level 134 Night lord, would cost a lot. Someone spent $500 on a level 121 hero :D Or, you can just keep your items in there, so when you come back you won't have to find items again (Remember when you come back you wont forget your pw or id) haha i got holidays in 2 weeks

In my opinion, equip wise, it's better going 1 equip at a time. My goal atm, is to get a 21% str stat earring and have been pumping a majority of my mesos into cubes. It took me months to get my attack shield. Don't feel that you're obliged to get good equips so fast on maple. It ruins the fun. Maple is for fun. Don't forget, Enjoy ^^

To those who are telling me to quit - I'm, in essence, quitting, I just want to prepare my character for when I find time to play actively again in the least time consuming way I can. You should sell your gear and merch with more. It's much much more efficient to merch with a higher amount of mesos. And plus you're gonna regear anyways right? O:

School goes on for about 9 months give or take. If you are going to just merch the whole time then I don't think selling the equips for seed money will really make a difference. I assume once you get up to a certain point in cash things will just go faster anyways. Way before school let's out I bet. I have ever merch'd before so I'm just talking...
