Whenever a Christian tells an atheist that God exists, the atheists always says "Proof" Well you see Basil atheists of the Basilmarket, it's called a.... hmm what do you call it... a.... a.... belief? No.. no... FAITH. Yep. It's called faith. Not proof... FAITH. Faith [feyth] : belief that is not based on proof There ya have it. That's what faith it. And I've heard many of you atheist basilers that "how can you believe in a religion that tells you the world has been around for 2000 years?" Really? 2000 years? Where did you get tha--- ohhhhhhohohoh 2010 is our current year. So you believe that the year is the age of the earth according to Christians? Counter-factual! The year does not represent how long the earth has been around for! The year states the number of years that Jesus has lived/died! 300 B.C.? That means 300 (years) Before Christ. Today is 2010 A.D. That means 2010 (years) After Death. There ya have it. That's what the years mean. The before and after of Christ. Not the age of the earth you silly gooses! Even the bible (the book that all of you seem to make many jokes out off) doesn't say that we've been around for 2000 years. Thank you, that is all, and I am now awaiting all of your sarcastic, smart ass comments, that many of you give out often.

I have never heard of the 2000 year old earth argument, however it is a common belief among 6 day creationists that the earth is around 6000 years old, something which goes against everything we know about the earth.

[/quote] That's not so much as a Christianity as whole thing than differing theological beliefs amongst people. Christians still debate over issues such as Genesis and Predestination.
