I used to think my friend, who typed like this, was super pro because he capitilized his sentences.

When I read sentences with terrible grammar and spelling, the voice usually comes out as someone who sounds incredibly stupid. I don't know. :|

I agree with the above. For some reason people give you more respect if you type properly and they can understand. It's just the way it is, type like you would talk in real life. First impressions are very important.

Lol, I just do it now because I'm older...I think. When I was just a freshman in high school I would use "u" for you and "ur" for your, but now I type more proper because..it doesn't really save you much time. On topic, not really a pro or not thing, just something that some people do..xD

I don't really see typing as a measure of professionalism. If it's understandable, it's good enough. Then again, I type like this in game, so maybe I don't see it as anything special.
Piymonk : I generally assume people who type illiteritly are retards or christian. Just saying, but from my experience, christians seem to type in such a way I can barely understand them.
I'm an atheist, but what....Christians? But yes, I hate people who type stupidly. Especially "ccplz," it drives me nuts.

I wouldn't really consider the act of typing properly to be a measure of how 'pro' one is, but more of how literate, or how much time one would put into making themselves sound like they know what they're talking about. From my perspective, if someone was typing with 'internet short-forms' and then was explaining 'the reason for the universe' or something equally as profound, I would invalidate them for what they say, as I really couldn't take them seriously and I find it pointless to talk to someone who would put only a very limited amount of effort into their spelling. Who knows where their sources are from. On the other side of the scale, even if someone was typing with reasonable literacy I would seem to give them more patience, as they bothered to put some effort into their spelling, and I would be under the impression that they would have trustworthy sources. Like I said before, this is my opinion, and although I may not be 'right', but it's just what I think. Of course, in this generation of spell-check, I don't really think spelling and/or grammar really means that much to the general Maplestory population in terms of being 'pro', but more of doing what they choose to do.

Knowing how to use caps is pro? Since when was that the case? Maples a weird place now... Pros IMO are people who play maplestory for a living (which isn't too legal, but its a business)

Great job, pro And yes, typing out sentences with correct grammar and spelling is pro...fessional. How is this even a question?
