Mechanic are copied?

Hi guys. Most of us know that Evan was copied from Eragon. My question is: Are mechanic copied from another thing like Evan was or they really are original. Evan is only one example. Mushroom kingdom is mario bros etc. (i can think of more but i might get flamed) So plz tell me what you think on mech.

Many MANY games, shows, movies, etc. have controllable robots people fight with. No, it's not original, but there is no "THIS IS THE ORIGINAL UNDENIABLE THING THAT THEY COPIED OFF OF" with mechanics. They just took their take on a classic game trope, and it turned out pretty damned well at that.

Lol, and what will finding out if mechanics were copied do to Nexon? Are you going to sue them for copyright? And it doesn't even matter. Nexon is just adding a new class to make the game more appealing to even more people. And almost all ideas come from ideas of other people. You can say that the warrior class was copied off from Diablo or whatever. People can almost always find a link between an idea in a game and another game and criticize that game for copying. Just sit back and enjoy the game. No need to start a heated argument about originality.

Don't make stupid remarks that you will regret later. And I'm positive that at least some of the maplers will pick evan BECAUSE of its relation to Eragon. And no doubt eragon was not the first with this idea. Why not make a mech class? Even if it is copied, I'm sure that people will play it because it is, or the way it looks.

The idea of robots have been around for a pretty damn long time, only made popular through Gundam and other Mechas. And now every time something new comes to Maplestory, people just HAVE to go "OMG IT'S A COPY@@@@@" when they're not doing that for all the OTHER copiers.

In the third matrix, there were alot of humans on robots fighting the flying octopus things. I think they copied it from them
