Will Nexon fix BPQ(Balrog pq)

Its just so frustrating that people keep dcing when there inside killing.. it actually seen like they will never fix it

this is easy to fix... seriously every time i go to bpq i ask people if they are running on the gamelauncher or off the website, if anyone says website, then i instruct them on how to use the gamelauncher in compatibility mode so they wont DC. it takes the "slow" people about 10-15 minutes to get it, but its worth it in the end when they end up NOT dcing

It's the same in Zak. It's a Windows 7/Vista game coding issue. They've only done it for XP so I've heard and apparently coding a game takes a long time. But seeing as Vista has had issue since it's release all the way up to now, it's a bit frustrating since Vista was released a LONG while ago. I've got Windows 7 64-bit running and I get random lag spikes and D/ces when I change channels/enter freemarket/CWJumpQuest/Zakum/BalrogPQ. It is very frustrating indeed.

@ above comment He's right, a lot more poeple do Zakum and HT runs than BPQ :| and i've never d/ced in a BPQ run o_o

Yea, same thing happens to me with my DB, its now lvl 80 but when i use to bpq i always use to d/c at 1st Damage Reflect or the Drops

to not dc in bpq you have to get the game launcher from the Maplestory folder (C > Nexon > MapleStory) then make a shortcut for it on your desktop (right click the gamelauncher, select send to, then click desktop) right click the newly created shortcut and select properties and then click the compatibility tab. check the first box and select Windows XP service Pack 2 in the dropdown menu thing. click apply then OK. start maplestory from the gamelauncher from now on. itll open like it used to before the website launcher was implemented. This also works for zak (not too sure about HT, as i havent bothered to try and go yet), but you have to slowly change the picture quality after each body. so after the first body (not the arms) dies, change the quality to one notch lower, and repeat for all of the other bodies, including after the last body dies. In BPQ, you only have to change the quality after you completely kill him, you can do it after the bonus stage if you want. just be quick about it, or maple will crash.
