My laptop wont charge anymore

Well its been a year since i bought this laptop and its one and only problem since then is that it doesnt charge anymore, im thinking that the jack in the back is loose, any help on how to fix it?

it's probably your power cord? maybe try a different outlet?

i think its the charger my sis had the same problem just buy a new charger and see if it works

Yea, I had the same problem. The charger is probably dead. Try AC power, with battery taken out. If it doesn't turn on, that means your charger needs to be replaced.

nah it isnt my charger, i tried it on another laptop a couple of minutes ago and it works fine also can a mod move this thread into the tech section under chat? just noticed it was in the general maplestory section

I've had a problem with HP laptops recently..were the battery life of them die out fast.

I suppose I have this same problem. My computer when unplugged can last a maximum of 5 minutes even though it was plugged in for a long time and it says battery is at 100% it skips to like 9% or lower immediately.

HP batteries tend to work for about a year. Mine only lasted that long too

Is your battery dead then? if not, try draining your battery until it is, then just recharge from there.

I actually just had this problem, look in the whole and see if its burnt out or if theres a peice missing that holds the cord there then bring it to a licenced place to fix it
