Hello all. This may be long, but please read it all the way through. To you advanced Maplers: I haven't played in about 8 months. I realized that I still love MapleStory as much as I used to and I still strive to get to the next level. I returned to MS (at my current level) and noticed many changes. 1. There are a lot more chairs, which I love most of. 2. There are "potential" items. 3. I see messages such as "blank's item has been enhanced successfully 10 times". 4. There are now item's that have their stats and then there are extra stats at the bottom in a smaller font (percentages?) 5. I see potential scrolls and enhancement scrolls in the FM. 6. There are "rare" items and items that have stars? If you all could please clear up items 2 through 6 I would appreciate it. I plan on playing Maple often from now on, especially with my new guild, CrimsonMyth (for 3rd and 4th jobbers), but I am having some trouble. I am a level 73 outlaw and I want to be level 100 and eventually a corsair very fast. I am dedicated and I have a LOT of NX, but I don't know how to turn this into items and levels. I have heard about leeches and I know how they work, but where should I leech? Should I look into these potential items? Thanks for your help! (and yes I already know about big bang and what will happen there, but I don't want to wait until then.) PS: This is my main character. READ THIS EDIT (1): And how can I turn my NX into money for leeches? I don't like the selling the NX thing because people always make you gift first.

The percentages are just what they sound like. Calculate the percennt. You can get them through potential Since the drop rates of monsters greatly increased, there is a chance you can get an item with hidden potential. It has a red line around equip. Go to a potion shop and buy the magnifying glass for correct level. Pretty cheap. Appraise the item by using the magnifying glass. Boom! You get potential! However, you don't HAVE TO get potential from drops. There are certain scrolls that give hidden potential. However, unlike dark scrolls, if they fail, they explode. It's either better item, or no item xD

2. There are "potential" items. - These are the items with the small numbers underneath them. The higher the level equip the better potential it is capable of getting. 3. I see messages such as "blank's item has been enhanced successfully 10 times". - There's a hack allowing items to not blow up / always have enhancements work. 4. There are now item's that have their stats and then there are extra stats at the bottom in a smaller font (percentages?) - These are potential items. They can either be found with hidden potential via monster drop or you can use a potential scroll on it for them to become hidden items. You then get an item from the potion NPC to make the hidden potential appear. You can buy an NX item to redo it and try again with potential'ing it. 5. I see potential scrolls and enhancement scrolls in the FM. - These are used to make items potential or enhance them. Enhancing them will be explained next 6. There are "rare" items and items that have stars? - "Rare" items are potential items that have been revealed. The potential is the stats in smaller font on the bottom of the equip. The items with stars are items that have been enhanced. When an item is enhanced it can gain on of many stats depending on which type of equip it is.

1. Chairs are awesome 2. Potential has really boosted attack ranges 3. Enhancement scrolls, though most items are exploited with them 4. Those are potential items. 5. Potential scrolls are around 12m and Enhancement 8m 6. Potential and Enhanced items. Potential adds the small texts at the bottom & makes the item Rare-->Epic-->Unique. Enhancement adds stars 7. If you wanna leech at 74, buy Jesters leech for 7m/hr 8. GET Potentialed Items

Number 2: Every item you pick up now has a chance of having a "potential" to it. These potentials range from crap to godly, such as weapon defense all the way to extra damage. You must use a magnifying glass found at any potion store to identify an item's potential. Number 3: Those are just hackers. I'll get to enhancements later. Number 4: The small font is the potential of an item. You can see that they can benefit the player enormously. Number 5: Chances are, you'll get an item that doesn't have potential. Your current equips will not have potential either. If you have a nice weapon you would like to add potential, you can use a potential scroll (coming in 70% and 90% scrolls) to add potential to an item. However, be warned. If the scroll fails, your item WILL explode at a 100% success rate. Enhancement scrolls are like chaos scrolls without the negative. Enhancement scrolls add random stats at a certain success rate. As you land more and more enhancements on an item, the chance of the next scroll with be reduced. Those stars that you see tell you how many enhancements have been landed on that item. Number 6: When you potential an item, it will range from "rare" to "epic". Epic has more chance of getting better potentials, although I've seen some good ones from rare too.

MTS Nexon Cash. Get like 8att work gloves and sell them for 30+ mil. Easy money. 8 att is about 4k or less nx. 10 att would get you 100+mil but it would cost 10+ nx.

Technically, these questions don't have to be for "advanced" Maplers. Most people who've been active recently could answer these questions.
