how the hell i do i defeat grendel. my cleric so freaking weak. in 2 hits im down. it seals me and all this crap ... is it possible to get help from someomeone else? could i bring my outlaw in the same map?

Try drinking potions and using magic guard? That should help a lot.

Just because you're a cleric doesn't mean you can't use hp pots! ;D Do PyPQ for all cures, too.

Take HP potions when you cant heal. Any ones that fully heal your HP.

If your HP is that low don't even bother healing, wastes time. Just rush Grendel and HP pot.

Hahahaha. I remember this. I died three times on my Cleric before I could kill Grendel the Really Old's Clone for the 3rd Job Advancement. My problem was also the lack of HP. I realized then that I had to use Magic Guard. Take a moment to cast that skill. I died the second time because I was using MP potions that healed too little. (Blue Potions.) So I upgraded to Red Bean Sundaes from Florina Beach. (I find those potions very expensive, and not worth their price, but those were available at the moment, so I bought them.) Sorcerer Elixirs from New Leaf City would be more worth your mesos. I had about 20 All Cures both times, though. I believe I was still using the Heal skill, though, instead of HP potions. I hope that helps. Remember. 1.) Magic Guard. 2.) MP potions that heal a lot of your MP. 3.) All Cure potions.

chaostheory well you got 1122 hp, so I'd suggest use MG and go in with whatever MP pots you use and unagis. Since you probably aren't keen on using HP pots (No offense, you're just a cleric lol, you wouldn't be used to it), and unagis heal 1k hp, you'll be fine. All cure as soon as you get sealed or dispeled or w/e. You'll be fine .
