Dual Blader Tornado Spin Question!

I recently started lvling my dual blader again. It is a lot of fun but the one thing I dont like is the nx skill book....So to try and keep the costs down Im trying to buy only the skill books i need. I have been noticing I basically need all of them but there is one I wasnt too sure about. Do i need to have Tornado Spin past lvl 5?

If you want to train better in 3rd job, yes. You'll be using the FaBsUs combo most of the time, but if you want to try out maps like Bains and Blue Kents, then you NEED Tornado Spin. It should be maxed by level 90-ish, but if you get the book right away, it's better to max it at 6x. above I actually found it really helpful at 5x-6x at tornado corridor XD

Put 1 point in it, and don't buy the skill book until level ~78 when you actually max it.

My DB is lvl 114 and I have not used it a ton, being honest. I find that its doesnt help as much as ppl think. Being a Shadower I got used to hearding monsters then killing them. I do the same on my DB usin Slashstorm,(Finishin with Uppercut of course) I do use it mind you only when heading to corners usally. But I use toranado more now at skelgons to help. Did'nt use it much till skelgons trainin though.

[quote] bklug : What about for bossing? is it needed alot then? [/quote] Nope. FA, TS, US, BS, etc. are all training skills. Fatal Blow and Chains of Hell are your main bossing skills; Tornado Spin isn't used much (if at all) here.

if you want to save NX, then get Slash Storm instead cause FABSUS is cheaper and stronger, but a bit slower than FATSUS, that's what I'm doing

Mesmorizer I agree with what your saying. Tornado spin is great in the long run once you get to a higher lvl bloody storm then will be rarely used as a result. With this skill you can pretty much have an easier time skeleing and other higher lvl monsters if you are planning to go that high. Following the guides almost messed me up and I realized tornado spin is a useful skill rather then a useless one

basically all the skill books except for sudden raid are needed, tornado spin is one of the most useful skill, i would say its more useful than bloody storm

Hmmm okay thank you. If anything I might go hunt for it. I heard Blue Wyverns drop Torndao spin 20. Ill give it a shot if nothing ill just buy it.
