Windians and "Server Pride"

Recently, Windia achieved another amazing feat. They became the first GMS server ever to sucessfully defeat Pink Bean. Congrats to them Now, here's where the problem starts. Server pride can often get a little annoying you have to admit, and sooner or later people [ like the TS in the thread (removed link) ]will use the whole "we killed PB haha" thing as a sign of superiority of some sort. Now, I'd say congrats, but the majority of these people saying "we killed PB" didn't even participate in the run itself. "We" implies that they too were killing it, and almost none of the people saying that actually were. So please, don't be like that guy. Congrats and all, but it sounds stupid to rub in something you didn't even help with or do. Edit: Please stay on topic ... I'm not questioning the legitimacy of the Windian PB run. Keep those kinds of comments out. The discussion is the annoying server pride from Windians that brag about it. Edit2: The link is no longer working as the Mods have closed/locked that thread. Simply, the TS in there was a 16x Evan comparing the world servers to countries. America = Windia ("superpower + we killed PB") is the particular part that showed my point.

That's like saying when Canada beat US in hockey, Canadians can't represent themselves lolwut? There just happy for there world. Leave em be, PS I'm Canadian so Hah We beat you in hockey!

Personally, I could careless that Windia was the first server to kill Pink Bean but there will always be obnoxious individuals who needlessly reciprocate their supposed "pride" in issues such as this one. Just ignore them and move along, they aren't worth the trouble.

well...who said that we even liked that guy (oohhhhh burn...) or we act like him anyways? I mean it's not right to say all Americans are fat...if that happens, I'm pretty sure I'll get "terminated" by Arnold and round house kicked to oblivion by Chuck. Anyways, I really disliked how the TS of that topic compared Windia to the US (even though it is a great country) and compared other servers into struggling countries *cough* Bora *cough* This is all coming from a Canadian and I really don't like getting compared to another country that is in a totally different league.

Windian pride here.. but only because I love my server. O.o I've come and never left. I don't really care about supposedly being strong and stuff; what I care about is the fact that I have lots of friends there. =)
