Neo-Dexless vs Low Dex (Post Dexless): Pros and Cons?

I have been coming up with a theory of a better variation of the dexless character countering the popular belief of dexless converting to low dex. I called it Neo-Dexless. (fancy suggestions to a better title, I am all ears as I made this term up on the fly.) I am going to skip to the point of what is the difference between a Neo and a regular dexless. The fact remains a Neo Dexless is virtually the same as a dexless except in terms of equips. (I am making a similar case with strless xbows vs Low str) My question ihas to do with which is the superior damage path? Dealing with absolutes Converting to Low Dex, buying Dex gear and equipping a Normal Stat claw, the lowest required base dex... Remaining Constant Dexless, buying Luk gear, and equipping the highest possible Statless claw. What is the damage gap? Lets take the maximum attack power(non cheat of course) of a normal stat claw, the required potential luk gear sacrificed for dex to equip this claw. Vs. The luk gear that would of been sacrificed for a normal stat claw, the bonus of the base luk, bonus of the claw speed, and the gap in damage towards the normal stat claw. What is the trade off? How much is the damage gap between the two? Notes: Common equips must be measured even by both characters as the bonus from such stats favors the Low Dex. The higher level claw requires MORE dex, so take this into consideration on the requirements. This is more of a math problem to me, but I am lacking the numbers... Plus the new stuff going on in maple raises questions to me on the current affairs. *I am not stating Neo Dexless is better, I am asking for the data.

Low-Dex Craven users with Dex equips are the same as Low-Dex Craven users with Luk equips (having different base Dex) if their equips are scrolled the same way (10 stat Cape, 10 stat Earrings, and so on). I did the calcs, and they're the same even after potentials and MW.

well if u have a % armor such as 2% on gloves hat shoes dep star and top nd bottom u have a total of 6% luk (this is pretty low for end game butanyways) and ur lvl 150 u have about 750 luk give or take and u add 6% u have about 45 extra luk and att from a craven or lapiom. a decent semi end game craven is upper 60 but a lv 127 claw is 64. also adding dex will give u more luk because of the %. to cantrast if u can get 2/3/4 % lvl 15 armor u can stay dexless which would be hard

I still see the same disadvantage within Low Dex, whether they put it in equips they lose potential luk gear. If they put it in the base, they lose potential luk base. Edit: rockboarder I have some questions for potential: Does potential % affect base stats or overall stats? Is potential limited towards normal stat gear, or available among statless common equips as well? If its not limited then there is no advantage on either side. Assuming % is affected by base, that would cease to make a Low Dex from being Low Dex. If its % on overall, it would still sacrifice potential luk stat equips for dex equips. And if you are just stating % for luk, that case is a positive for both sides giving no advantage. |

This is what I plan on doing, and it might possibly the best way to do thing but that of course is just my opinion. My base dex is 60, making me low dex, and what I plan on doing is just getting a dex helm, a HTP and I also have my medal for the dex issue. Depending on funding, you can get rings, face acc or other things without sacrificing luk. I personally am not going to get face accessories for I think they are a waste of money and I already have a 60 base but it shouldn't stop you from doing it if you can afford it. With the HTP and medal I will have 84-85 dex. My goal is to have 120 dex total so I can wear a the level 80 pirate equips for their potential so I would need a 35-36 dex helm, if you can get higher then good because you can have a lower base. This is where the statless claw comes in handy. I only need a total of 120 dex without sacrificing any of my luk equips. I think of it as the best of both worlds, you get all the luk equips and potential stats from the high lvl equips but you're not sacrificing any because a helm can only be scrolled with dex and a HTP comes with both. You also get the statless claw, which is about the same as a lampion but you won't need to worry about the 40 more dex. So in all, you get the benefits that both dexless and reg-dex get. You won't even have to scroll you're bottom.

And then I was thinking taking it even further for being Dexless, and still have Dex scrolled equips that are NOT affecting Luk potentials: Zhelm, Snow Shoes, medals, rings, etcs.. Then would that be possible to equip even a normal stat claw and equips? With a Chaos zhelm at the rough base of 21 each stat, + its a decent scroll, + decent scrolled dex shoes among a chaos attack, + rings, +medals, + 25 base would that be enough? And mind you without sacrificing any luk potentials, the shoes might get it some unless you can counter it dex and attack which is tricky to find even scroll...

Well let's say you were gonna be completely dexless, and try not to sacrifice any luk equips. With 25 base and a HTP, you're at 47 dex. Chaos Z-Helm perfectly scrolled with 60%s or 70%s would be 45 dex, total 92. Medal +2 dex, total 94. 3 ring of ancient str, 100. Gold emerald earrings, 102. 4 Aura rings, 106. 6 dex rat mouth, 112. 4 dex specs, 116. I'm sure you can have better scrolled face accessory but this way it's not that expensive. Only thing that would cost quite a bit is the helm. With this, you need 4 more dex in-order to wear the level 80 equips. I don't see why you would try to wear a normal dex claw though since there is the dexless claw which is as good as the reverse lampion if not better. I didn't count shoes because I think it would be better to just get level 80 shoes. If you want more dex for a higher level claw just scroll the pirate bottom. With these equips though, you will not be sacrificing any luk equips.

I'd probably gear the shoes more towards attack anyway. Thanks for the list.
