Training at Newties

Not too long ago, I posted a thread asking if I would get to lv 120 with 12 hours of 4x at newties. Everyone said yes, and I was greatly encouraged. However, after 10 hours of 4x (with 6 hours remaining), I have only leveled from 106 to 112, which is quite disappointing. I even took the bottom platform and accepted a huge pot burn in order to get more exp. So, a few questions - 1. How do I find a newtie party? Do I go to Leafre Ch. 1 and spam "J> newtie party"? Or is it at Destroyed Dragon Nest? Do I just CC at DDN until I find some afk people and leave them messages? 2. I'm getting roughly 60%/hour solo on 4x on the bottom platform. Is this normal? Back when I was Lv 106, the exp was 100%/hour on 4x. Thanks for your help ^.^

1. Spam in leafre. J>Newts Party. Works well, lol. Also state which platforms you are able to take. 2. Yeah its normal. Solo gets slow very fast. In a party w/ a priest, you should get well over 90% an hour.

Usually you find them at the Newt Area, but I usually find mine in my alliance. Yeah its kinda slow down there do as ToastMeh said and get a priest. It'll be BEAST especially if your on 4x it turns into 6x.

60%/hour is pretty bad. In a party with HS and 3 attackers (you on the bottom) you should be getting about 120%/hr. I still get 120%/hr on 4x with max HS and I'm level 112, so I don't know what you're doing wrong. Do you take the whole bottom?

advice for me bottom is worst, if your bird can stun well u should go mid and go just infront of the first newt(also how i do top). but i dont know if rangers can do it or if u could take that sort of position at ur lvl. i died trying at lvl 112 o.O

With a ring mule + HS, I got around 100%/hr with a party at level 13X. Just find a party at Leafre or make a listing here and you'll be fine.

Thanks for all the responses ^.^ @RandomBowner, I made a Listing, the only response I had was from a Lv 8x CB lol. Edit: I went to Leafre Ch. 1 30 minutes early (before 2x started). Spammed J/R Newtie PQ. No one responded, one 4th jobber told me that no one did newtie party anymore. So looks like I'm going solo til 4th job then

If someone told you tha no one died Newtie parties anymore, they lied hahaha. Everyone does Newties. Especially Bowman/NLs.

I ended up partying a Lv 12x Bowmaster, and I was getting close to 100%/hour. However, he DCed with 1 hour of 4x remaining, so I just went solo

I think it works best if you spam J> NPT in the destroyed dragon nest.

My original thread asked if I would make lv 120 with 12 hours of 4x. This has nothing to do with how long I would actually train (I chose 12 hours because of the two 6-hour 2x events). If you really want to know, the reason I ended up training for 16 hours is because I trained for 4 hours extra on Friday, which I was not planning to do.
