Why i hate the first day of school

The first day of school is the worst. Why? Because you get this big old packet which your supposed to fill out with your address, name, phone number, etc. Now you think my parents would fill this packet out right? Heck no I've been doing this crud since the third grade all they do is sign it after i finish filling out the information. So what about you guys?

I do that too. Pretty fun actually. I hate how everyone says hi to you, say the missed you and then never talk to you again.

I never have to do that, they hand out the one from the year before and if anything changed like your phone number they change it in red pen, but since nothing changed I hand it back.

I usually like the first day of school. My school hasn't started yet though.

Going to a new school is worse (like college and university). :/ You will rarely see your friends, being in a completely different environment, the teachers won't give a damn about you, no one will care about you until you make new friends, which in that case would only be useful as homework buddies. You'd have to register for courses and do all this paperwork all by yourself and it will be the first time you'll EVER feel independent. I miss high school.

I fill out those forms myself as well. I also don't know where my classes are since I'm starting high school this year. I saw the school during orientation and well it's a giant school and pretty easy to get lost in.
