Well I've decided to make a mage in Scania. I was just wondering what your favorite mage classes are and why. Also which one do you think I should be? I usually like to solo but I like party quests too. I want the gameplay to be fun and not too tedious. I've made a cleric before and it seemed kind of fun but I'm not sure if they're able to solo when they need to. So just give some input and vote.

Flip a coin. I don't mean that in a bad way, either. While the coin is still in the air, you'll realize exactly what you really want. Or ask yourself: Green and red, or yellow and blue? Freeze scores of monsters with ice and obliterate them with lightning, or wear down enormous beasts with poison and burn through their weakened forms with waves of explosions and arrows of fire? I don't know. I enjoyed my f/p. But fourth job was just so boring. Maybe the big bang patch will change that. As things are now, though, both classes are pretty samey (training wise) around fourth job. Look up some post Big Bang training videos or something.

CPQ is definately for a F/P. Nobody really adds clerics because heal only affects certain monsters and there are pots everywhere. Pypq is better for clerics though. Since you've narrowed it down to the two i'd say F/P.

Hmm and if I were to go F/P should i go Fizard, Pizard, or hybrid? I'm not planning to be bossing (if there is even anything worth bossing at that level). I know that Pizards basically train at higher level maps and get pretty decent experience but are more expensive. And that Fizards train at ice maps and are the cheapest of the three. Also what would be best for unfunded, lukless or regular luk?

Ok, that just leaves the part about lukless or regular luk. I'll probably go lukless because I don't care how I look but I'd still like to know what you all think

F/P are very powerful and interesting, and Clerics are great money makers, but overall (in my opinion) I think that I/L are the most fun because of the skills they get in third job.
