did i just scam someone?

so i was trying to sell my enhancement scroll when somebody traded me, put up 10m then traded, but i didn't put up the scroll yet. i seized the opportunity to take the money, then the guy was calling me a scammer yet it was kinda his own fault.

No. Technically, he pressed the trade, and all you did was respond to that. To me, you got it fairly, think of it as a friendly donation.

Well, he's at fault for putting the 10m up and pressing trade before he sees that you have what he wants up to trade. You're at fault for pressing trade and not putting up the scroll. Yes, you scammed him. Yes, he allowed you to by being an idiot.

OH NOES the cam can prove it that the guy was just freely donating money since he wasn't with he stuff on his hands." Like it or not, deal is deal. If you scam in a game you scam IRL too takaing into account that there was a person behind the computer that lost its mesos (virtual money which was gotten with time and time = RL money). Doing that will just make you less of a person. :P

No you didn't scam him at all, none of this is your fault. The kid should know you can't trust random people to press trade when you are the only one depositing in the trade. My god how some people are protective of random maplers and feel bad for them, like that KSing thread a few weeks ago.

You're no different from those other scammers. He may have traded mistakenly but accidents happen. You should of gave him the scroll when you took his money, but instead greed took over you and you decided to take his mesos and run away. Sounds alot like a scammer doesn't it? EDIT: BTW no person is actually DUMB enough to trade first and you have no proof he is dumb so i'd say it was an accident so most likely the answer is your a scammer.

That guy just put up 10mil. If he was tring to get a good offer he would have waited for you to put up the scroll. Maybe he's just trying to mess with you?
