Overall vs. Top & Bottom.

Can anybody tell me more about this? Which is better? I'm using a 19 dex robe on my gunslinger. But I'm thinking about changing it to a top & bottom. (15 Dex Bottom & 15 Str Top?) <-How much would that cost? And is it worth it? thanks :D

If you make it with the maker skill u can make it have an added lke 14 dex to start and u can scroll it to get to like 20+ top and bottom is better than just overall, which is what i wish mages could do

Overalls are more on so for attack bonuses. Like for regular classes or pure stat classes(Unless you're really funded). Low stat classes most of the time use the Top and Bottom method.

sadly for pirates you get no choice of top and bottom (71+) so dmg wise your best bet would be a lv 80+ overall potentialed for dex (pretty sure that is slingers main atk stat) the common top and bottoms seem cool now but with potential you can "easily" get 54+ dex on a overall (plus whatever its actual stats are,maybe put adv STR on there ) im just talking about 9% dex from potential'ing it (lvl120,assuming you have 600dex) and the great thing about potential is the more you lvl, the stronger it gets! the same 9% dex overall will be 67dex(CLEAN) @ lvl 150

Top and bottom is by far better. Reason:Overall=1 potential Top and bottom=two potentials. Thus, top and bottom are better. o-o

im fairly sure this is a facepalm for you. there are no top + bottom for pirates. only overalls.
