[h=info]Introduction[/h] Hai there :D! Welcome to my guide for Hunters,Rangers,and Bowmasters for the game maplestory. I have played this game for quite some time, and this class is one that I feel I have enough experience to make a guide on. I made this guide because basil needs a Bowman->Bowmaster ( BM ) guide. So I hope you enjoy this guide, and it helps you become a better player yourself! [h=info]Why Should i Choose an Archer?[/h] Actually, It's entirely up to you but to persuade you here are some pros and cons of archers Pros: -Main Stat is DEX which let's you hit monsters that have high Avoid -Attacks from A-far -wanted for SE ( Sharp eyes ) -pretty cheap equipment and scrolls -very high ranged damage -gets very effective mob-controlling skills after the 2nd job advancement -Great DPM (damage per Minute ) and/or DPS (damage per Second) -Summons many things -Puppet is Great in 3rd job Cons: -Low hp May need to Blood wash or Hp wash to Boss -is a class of patience (Lvling isn't as fast during lower levels ) -damage is very unstable until Bow/Crossbow Mastery (2nd job skill) -arrows can't be recharged like throwing stars and don�t have many different types (bronze arrow, diamond, etc.), On the contrary they are pretty cheap in Npc stores. and you get Soul arrow which now uses the attack of the arrows equipped but doesn't waste it. - Can't Pot while using Hurricane [h=info]Ability Point Distribution[/h] So you�re going to be a Bowmaster someday, but thing is, you don�t know how! Well that is what I am here for, and I plan to assist you along the way as best to my ability. Your primary stat is Dex. This brings up your accuracy and Maximum damage Your secondary stat is STR. This lets you wear most equips and brings up your minimum damage Luck and Int, are worthless to archers, so to be one it is ideal to keep them as low as possible. Based on your funding With Decent Funding: Most hunters that are decently funded go low Str and have equips like Depstars Zhelms and Str Robes. This helps them hit high and be able to equip their weaqpons at the same time. they cap ( or stop ) their str at 30-50 str depending on how much mesos they have. With no Funding: With no funding you should have your str = to your level + 5 so if you were lvl 30 you would have 35 str ; Dex however you would want to put as much dex as you can. With alot of Funding: With alot of funding Bowmen can go strless which is 4 str and they may wear stuff like zhelms maplekand |
