Hello I am very confused. I am sick of maplestory and need a fun new class to.. well.. have fun with o.O. I'm going to make a warrior. Polearm spearman, or aran are my choices, and I'm not sure which to choose. I have 12 att wg, 6 dex shoe, 15 dex overall, 12 acc earring, 11 str cape, and 11 str 84 att steel polearm to get started with. Which would be better in teh end? Dark Knight, or Aran? Mobbing, bossing ect. EDIT: What build? Low dex, dexless, norm, high..?

If it's going to be pure polearm, chose aran. If you're going to shot for 3rd job and have a spear dragon knight, go DK.

Your best bet would be either to read the stickies, or make a dexless sin and go around KSing people with the macro "NARUTOAZNPWN"

if u make a spearman, make it hybrid because the hybrid can do what both pure spear and pure PA can do. also you shouldn't pick a class based on what weapon they use you should enjoy a class for its fighting style and skills. read the warrior comparison wiki, watch youtube videos, or even try a pizza slice to get first had experiance of which class you like most.

the amount of dex you wish to have depends on what you wish to have. if you want to be more than an attacker at bosses, drk is the way. if you want to be more of an attacker at bosses, aran is the way.

Think of a spear as having a fork. And a PA as a spoon. Both are useful, just not in the same situations (you wouldn't eat steak with a spoon or cereal with a fork, right?). Being a hybrid is like having a fork and a spoon. Not a spork, which is far from the best of both worlds. You can have the full benefits of both without any downsides.

You have some pretty good Dex/acc equips. I suggest you go Really LOW Dex. like 10 cap. At level 50, i had similar equips and still had 174 Acc. More than enough... Wasted maybe 200 or so dmg i coulve put on str instead of my capped 30 dex. Basically stay dexless until you need dex. and then add some 1 by 1.

Go dexless, it was never hard to begin with, and now with potential equips it's so easy. If you need to, wear acc potential equips but stay dexless, and when you make more money in the future switch to %str equips. As for which class that depends on what playing style you like, and you really can't let others choose for you. If you go spearman go hybrid like the above posters stated.
