I changed my mind, I'm going to newts tomorrow rather than squids. I plan on training solo in the minidungeon cause that's how I roll. Should I snipe like 1 or 2, or work my way around the map with my level 27 hawk? First time at newts, and I'd like to get bowmaster in 3 days(training for the full 6 hours each day). I doubt I could get 10 levels, but its worth a shot >.>

Well training alone is boring and too slow for me. I recommend a party because sometimes they are more fun and the exp seems to fly by if you start up a good conversation with your members. As for sniping newties you can snipe the 2 newties in the middle platform with no problems but moving around the map costs alot of pots. This is my experience newting from 100-120+

I don't like the pressure of being in a party, nor if someone leaves, it messes up the whole process. If I DC, I feel responsible for their exp decline. I've always trained alone, and I enjoy it more(I buddy chat ) Also, wouldn't I need to regulate the spawning in the map?

I kinda get what you mean (I hate being party leader if someone leaves). As far as I know the two newties in the mid will almost always spawn regularly. I even remember counting how many seconds in between the death and spawn. I think it's like 5secs in between after both are dead.

So basically I snipe the 2 newts in the middle? No hawk or anything? Just gotta heavily stock up on MP pots.

Hawk is a must, sorry forgot to mention that. You will be using more mp pots more than hp (obviously) So I would just stock up on summoning rocks and mp pots before I set out to grind.

beerbeerHey Dylan, you shouldn't need to snipe newts. You can take the full bottom or full middle. We have around the same damage range, and what I do is on the bottom, I stand between the first newt from the left and the second newt from the left, put hawk on (level 19 hawk, 92% stun), and cast a puppet to my right between the two newts to the right. The hawk takes care of the newt behind me, stunning it, and then I kill the two newts in front of me that are attacking the puppet. When those two are dead, you kill the third newt to your right and it'll transform into a nest golem. Attack the golem and lure it to the left while jumping over the newt that is stunned behind you. Then kill the newt that was stunned and it'll transform into a golem also. Then you should have two golems where the first newt to the left was and arrow bomb them to death or something. Rinse lather & repeat :] Hope this helps

If you think you're up to it, spawn a few nest golems on the map to increase your spawn on the middle platform.
