Has a GM CONTACTED YOU?

If a gm EVER contacted you in maplestory it is FAKE unless it was him talking to you by CHAT BUBBLE AT A EVENT, OR YOU RANDOMLY SAW ONE! ALL GMs WILL have the gm symbol rotating above their head. If a gm did a notice, whisper, chat invite, or weather directly to you, IT IS FAKE! they will NEVER contact directly you in game. Havent you seen the [mapletip]s? So please stop making threads like "a gm said drop my stuff" or " a gm said give him my info", it is a hacker that is really retarded. A gm will NEVER ask you to drop your stuff, they know your info already, they can do anything they want. so why would they ask you to do anything? and please dont say "no sheait sherlock", because as you can see, many people didnt know this. edit: GMs will, but VERY rarely, contact you in game, but they will NEVER ask for your info, items,social security number, or account id. and the people that said a gm contacted them said it happened 2-4 years ago, its almost impossible for a gm to contact you in 2010, they are to busy spawning stuff

A GM has contacted me before about last year when the guild hack was out there. My guild was one of the ones to be hacked and the GM wanted to know if I had any idea who it was. Also, back in '08, I was talking to GM TiaraWindia and she transported me to Leafre before it was even released.

A GM contacted my brother like 2 years ago or 3. It was about his crush ring, I think. He and his GF at the time had crush rings, and both world xferred. When they world xferred, they ring didn't work, but they both still had the ring. The GM invited him into chat and after 5minutes, he and his GF got compensated with the correct amount of nx. He has a screenshot too

A "GM" added me on Windows Live once. It was hilarious playing along with them. It was actually kind of weird, their email was even "@nexon.net". Still though, not falling for that. Nexon doesn't exactly have access to my WL email..

GMs do contact you in-game for contest purposes occasionally and GMs DO NOT have access to your personal information. That would directly be against their own TOS.
