Has anyone else changed their standards on items?

About 1 months ago i completed my soon to become semi-godly bandit. I had 111/14 ATT Dragon's tail with a 6% att potential and then +8 Additional weapon attack 18 ATT scg 13 Dex BSS 8 ATT pac with +4% Luk +4% dex However, after the release of DB, i decided to stop playing on my bandit and start a BM. With the 50% "event" i created a perfect nisrock thats been enhanced twice. Now its 151 Attack (working on cubing right now) Problem is, i dont even feel proud about this bow. It doesnt mean anything to me, and it even seems horribly poor compared to others.. I mean, look at all those earrings with +15% stats, and those pants with +20% LUK. I honestly have nothing compared to them... Without spending loads of nx or selling stuff i have, i'll never become as good as those people who have massive amounts of nx.. And with the new exploits such as enhancing it makes me feel horrible. I went through so much pain just to get through 2 enhancements, and now people are hitting 20+ enhancements... All of this have made me think about quitting. You guys will probably flame me, but i'll take the criticism. /flameshieldthatdoesn'twork

Why such a negative poll? You're kind of right in a way. You need tons of NX to make those godly items or be extremely lucky on your first scroll. But I can't vote cause theres no "Yes/I Agree" option.

I sort of agree? Way to many godly items, way to easy to make them. But then again, I play for fun, not for damage comparisons.

Personally, I didn't change my standards on items. You can have a bow like that and someone with 14x attack and less DEX on that same bow will be just as godly to me. I don't play for the damage.

Yeah the whole potential/enhancement thing kinda changed my perspective on items. Items that I had like 18 dex jeans became almost worthless. It annoyed me at first and made me feel like all the good equips I had were a waste of time. However, now I'm enjoying it because I have godly equips lol
