The Anti-NX Cash Mentality

| Time is money. Hi, everyone. Have you ever participated in NX-cash offers from the Nexon website? Legally , that is. Using an empty pre-paid credit card is not lawful, and can actually create some serious beef. As in, somebody comes a-knocking on your door and hands you a note, saying that you've been served. Appear in court on this day, you are being charged with fraud. You have the right to a lawyer. Yikes. Now, those surveys that are lawful take quite a while to complete. You're spending what, twenty minutes for a $1.20? And that's if the NX-cash offer is even legitimate. Most of the time I've spent on surveys has been wasted, since I never received my NX. It seems that NX cash that is "free of charge" has a certain appeal to lots of people, because they just don't want to buy NX. They'll do anything to get NX that doesn't involve payment. Well, let's imagine you have a minimum wage job. I'm aware that most of you aren't going to want me to spew out facts about weekly/monthly earnings, payments, taxes, so I'll just hurry to the point. A minimum-wage job in a state like Nevada offers perhaps $7 an hour. What will you do with this money? What would any teenager do? Go to movies with friends, buy gas for your car, save for college, perhaps make cellphone payments, buy candy, and... buy NX? Lots of people would call that a waste of money. But perhaps they should reconsider. Time is money. Would you rather work at your local movie theater, or would you rather be an underwriter for a corporation? You'd rather be an underwriter, no? Because, as an underwriter at State Farm, you could be reeling in $30,000 a year, where at your theater, your annual earnings would barely break $5,000, when working full-time in both cases. Same hours, and a very different paycheck. When you're working at getting your "free" Nexon cash, you're actually wasting money. You thought that that NX cash was free? The only way it can be free is if you are unable to get a job or sell a service. You are taking up your time working at concessions or Box Office, when you should be working as an underwriter. It's the financially-wise decision. It's fine if you just don't want NX cash at all. I have nothing against that. But if you want NX, and you have the ability to get a job, spend money on the NX cash. You'll have plenty to spend on whatever else you want, with a minimum-wage job. If you're done with your working hours and you'd like more NX, feel free to knock out as many surveys as you'd like, but note that you're going to be spending hours chasing a few dollars. It'd be a much better idea to simply ask for some more hours from your work, and get the extra NX that way. One might disagree, as, once again, money is being spent on the game. That's true. But your time is worth more than $3 an hour. Why would you turn down the ability to get $5 of NX cash and $10 extra on the side, for the ability to get $5 of NX cash by itself? If you don't want NX, that's just fine. But if you do, |

|
snitchesss : What about us who are spoiled by our parents and get nx whenever we ask?
Well then, for now, you're fine. Don't let that spoiling reach your head, though. If your parents are the type that supply you with whatever you ask for, be careful to learn how to manage money and live on your own. Ask for them to teach you various chores that they do, such as laundry, dishes, cooking, etc. Talk to your parents about how they make their money. Oft is the case that a spoiled child grows not, but rather decays. Sorry if that's totally not the case at your house, but I've had experiences with spoiled kids. And I've watched them grow into young adults that don't know how to take care of themselves. When it came time for them to move out of the house, they didn't know how to take care of themselves, couldn't support themselves, and ended up going back home for a while. | I work full time during the summer, then weekends/occasional evenings as a student. Now, lets say it's 11pm. I want that permanent transparent hat. My time holds no value at this point, unless I feel like scrubbing car windows, picking up cans, or pass time doing surveys. And though I doubt you mention it, both you and nexon profit from it, due to surveys being worth a better coin than nexon is willing to admit, I'm sure. Now, my time could be used more "efficiently" grinding on monsters instead, but that holds no monitary value either. Zero. Less than doing surveys. Now, call my theory wrong, but doing surveys on your seeming "Valueless" time, are you not adding to your "Yearly gross profits" by those $1.20 you otherwise wouldn't have earned? I got my VIP hair from nexons free "Pick a gift" reward. Colour from the 5000 maplepoints rollback, as well as a few other quickie items, and did a quickie survey to buy a transparent hat. I think I'm looking pretty sharp for a guy who spends his real money buying food, paying rent, and working off a student loan. I didn't read your paragraph, it looked like an attention-demanding rant written by a highschool student eager to impress after scoring an "A" on his latest propaganda essay. That sentence was a mouthful, but at least it isn't a rant on how we the maple community should be directing our income. |

You have a point about valueless time, I'll give you that. Would you rather I didn't make threads, or what's the deal? I'm trying to spread knowledge that could come in handy. |

Do chores for your parents for money. There's a lot out there that can generate much more money per hour. |

| I believe in this. Those surveys are extremely stupid, it's like making you work an hour, and then firing you without getting paid because you have a red car, not a black one. Too bad I can't get a job. Too young to work at stores and stuff. My parents don't give me money and make me do all the chores anyway. My neighbors don't trust me because I'm a "one of those teenagers that's just trouble.", even though I've never even done anything to them. |

| Surveys can actually generate up to 9 dollars an hour :P though theoretically. I can usually get 7 or 8 an hour, but that is with the help of roboform and greasemonkey and i don't do the illegal methods like using empty prepaids. though the 7 or 8 an hour only works when the good surveys have been saved up but yes your point is valid. I get 10 an hour by doing an internship, and it's good in two ways. Firstly, money. Secondly, work experience/internshilp experience for college app. I'm interning at a law office. |

| Russisch : Sorry I meant I know some sites that use the free offer system that also implement Amazon Tasks so you can get money from that and transform it in to digital money whether that be NX cash or whatever. Gaiaonline does it, I've seen it. |
