An argument FOR Nexon.

I'm just gonna say something. You don't HAVE to agree with me. I find it very irritating that a majority of Maplers insult Nexon. Here are some insults I hear alot: 1.Wizet was a lot better. 2.Nexon is greedy. 3.Nexon can't fix glitches. 4.Nexon isn't making it fair to non-NX buyers. 5.Nexon can't run MapleStory like WoW. 6.Nexon doesn't ban hackers. 7.Nexon doesn't have perfect non-buggy events. 8.Nexon doesn't respond to tickets. My response to these comments: 1.When Wizet was running MapleStory, you couldn't train at Ludi. (LITERALLY) 2.When you run a company, you want to make as much money as you can. Who isn't greedy? 3.Coding and programming isn't that easy. Try running a multi-million dollar game. 4.Of course, you want benefits from buying NX. If all you get is clothing, why would the majority of Maplers buy NX? 5.How about we ALL chip in $25 dollars a month and help them? Exactly. 6.Do you see their permanent ban list? Moderators can't ALWAYS be looking for hackers. 7.It takes a lot of people to find glitches. Ex.If 5-10 people were playing Maple, would 50%s be exploited? No, they would never have known. 8.Try reading THOUSANDS of hate mail in forms of tickets and tell me how you feel. Thank you for reading, I'm hoping people would post REASONABLE arguments against my statements. P.S. The poll is for #5. -How much NX do you spend in a month. This only counts for those you spend REAL LIFE cash on NX.

Now for your post in which I was too lazy to edit my own(apparently like Nexon, har har har) See, the GAME is up and running, but it was built for 32-bit OSs. I can run Maple perfectly fine on Win7, with only the server lag. I assure you that when Nexon/Wizet adds the BB, they will upgrade the game to run on 64-bit OSs as well. And I forgot the rest of your post. I'll add that later.

However if I recall correctly from my memories, Wizet successfully resolved that issue in less than two weeks, yet the problems we have now (like the server crashes, duping and DC Hack, etc.) are an ongoing problem of 1 month+.

That's like saying "Hey, let's release Leafre when everyone's lv 10".

I'm not being mean to those who complain or anything, but they are LUCKY that MapleStory is a FREE online game. Nexon can easily decided to charge every single player for playing and make LOADS of cash, but they don't. So why don't people quit complaining about all this stuff and be grateful for this awesome game? It's also really hard to eliminate hackers when there are soooo many of them, yes it ruins our playing experience but really think about all the people who play MS and then think about the % of them who are hackers and then complain. If you're gonna complain, then you might as well know WHAT you're complaining about. -___-

Thing is, they deny that these issues exist. @above, You can, and you can also run from London to Hong Kong. See the analogy here...

If people have to pay for Maplestory, about a third or a quarter of the MS Community would quit. Most likely they would switch to Guild Wars, WoW, or other MMORPGs that they would've paid for anyhow.

I also don't like the things Nexon does. I don't always agree with them. The thing I hate the most it how lazy they can be when it comes to patches and server checks. From the time I started playing, all they do is make us patch useless crap, downloading the patch that may fix a glitch or two, but adds alot more glitches. and sometimes they make us wait 15 hours+ just so they can fix more glitches, while adding more and more. The cycle of glitches never ends O.o' I may sound like a hypocrite because I do stand up for them at times >.<

[/quote] I could've sworn they had to translate the codes. Of course, the causes of said things are rather random. I can run Maple well on my Win7 computer, but the kid around the block can play like crap on his Win7. Whether or not it's the OS, Nexon should upgrade their game, presumably in the first part of the Big Bang. Either Nexon needs to be sure it's the compatability, or they're putting it off until later.

Well Nexon is a good company, but they make more than enough money in revenues to be able to enhance quality throughout all games. Nexon has shown substantial growth throught the recent years. Source: http://forum.nexon.net/iTCG/forums/thread/4755816.aspx With such an increase, and still more to come, Nexon would be able to generate over 1 billion USD in revenue a year within the upcoming years. Although that is the revenue, I would guess their profits are still more than enough to upgrade gameplay and customer service throughout and still have plenty of money leftover for themselves.
