Hacker Outbreak Alert, I think I have a solution! Anyone in?

So as well all know the hacker outbreak is here, equipments disappearing and all these "I got hacked" threads being started.. I think we should all participate in this act I am about to propose to all of you because it may do something, and in some cases, it can fool hackers. Here's what I think we should do: 1) All of our characters, the ones we treasure, we need to disguise them as already hacked characters. What I mean by this is to literally, strip our characters completely (unequip all armor and weapons), that way if our characters are logged on by other people, they'll see nothing but stripped characters. 2) Remove your characters from your player list on basilmarket. I say this because our characters are still shown on basil market and we could still show off our characters being fancy with our equips, I say remove your valuable characters so that no one can see who your characters are, and what server they are located in. 3) If you really want to hide your treasured and godly equips even more, MTS them for a ridiculous price that no one in the world can afford, and simply keep them there until there is peace in GMS. 4) [Optional] Just don't play maplestory for a while until Nexon addresses this issue, this outbreak is going too far, so we try to stay safe and keep our characters from being touched by anyone. If you do play maplestory, at least, every time you finish playing, strip your characters. 5) I hear that a reason why people are getting hacked is by changing their password, I can't totally confirm this is the right case, but perhaps it would be a good idea to not touch your password or PIN at the moment. Hopefully by doing this, no one will have access to our accounts. These are just some actions I believe that people should take part of, maybe I am missing a few, but as a community on basilmarket, please share other solutions, and share your feedback as well. We don't like these hackers, not do we like to get hacked ever. Now for the question, who's with me?

A data leak is highly possible. However, 1) Many people reading this already got hacked. 2) Removing character from basil is pointless. They probably use your username to find your password, not character ign. 3) MTS is currently under construction in some new worlds like Galicia. IDK about other worlds. 4) Taking those steps require a lot of commitment for some people. 5) These hackers are human too. Any hacker would check all accounts like mules, MTS, and shops. So, taking most of those steps are pointless, is what i'm trying to point out.

yea hiding stuff in mts wont do anything. i was hacked several months ago and even the couple of adamantium ores i had in mts was taken out.

[/quote] THIS IS NOT POSSIABLE, you can only get CLIENT sided GM LOOK witch means ( ONLY on your own computer you can LOOK like a GM - you dont have the privileges of a GM and nobody else knows you look like this) This is the closest thing you can get to what you are saying. The only way you noobs are getting hacked is if another hacker askes you to put a packet into your packet editor witch makes you lose your item to them. OR you give info away to people OR type that info into other places appart from the Nexon Maplestory login. (not to any of those dodgy nx places or anything) Anyone have any other TRUE ways that they have been hacked? Thanks

Thanks [/quote] i dont know if u know this, but im pretty sure the 2nd remote hacking WAS here a couple of weeks ago, causing a ton of people to get hacked. When the 1st remote hack was here, this NL on basil actually gave SERVERAL pieces of evidence of remote hacking. im pretty sure that was the biggest hacking incident o and btw, richcuddling=davidrich. davidrich was the guy who enhanced his blood dagger 68 times. He also has VIP hacks >.<
