Can you cube a 2 line item to 3 lines?

Alright, for example: say you had 2 lines potential rose earrings (rare) with +2 luk and +2 dex. Can you cube it and then remagnify it to get 3 lines: +2 str, +2 luk, and +2 dex? I'm just creating an example, it doesn't have to be str, luk, dex, etc.... I am just wondering if its possible to create a 2 line potential item to a 3 line potential item. I've had many people saying: "No its not possible, i've cubed over 1000 items" and other people say: "yeah its possible only IF your item goes from epic to unique" and ETC.... If anyone experienced this or knows FOR SURE please reply. Thanks c:

This holds true with "epic" unique etc.. Once you come out of rare it stays at that stat. (my Bow wont go above 8% crit and 4% total damage with 120 cubes)

Sorry i couldnt find the thread on the kms forums. But i assure you it has been done from 2 lines to 3 lines in kms. They get free cubes

@s3borz well if its 100% that it can be done in kms it should work in gms too.shouldn't it lol? i don't think gms would make a patch to make it possible for 2lines ->3 lines.

6 unique items here and the 4 that were two stats never became 3 in all the cubing i have done
