Hey guys, I recently came back from a .. 4 month break, and I'm not sure whats really going on! Can some of you please fill me in on the recent maplestory changes? Thanks! Much appreciated!

well at the moment there's an alien invasion going on which makes it practically impossible to train. new class Dual Blade came out which is arguably the most annoying class since they always KS. and they added a new system to weapons so you can get potential stats and came up with 50% scrolls so pretty much all of your equips are obsolete... thats all i can think oh at the moment. Edit: DB's don't always KS it's just that most of them i've seen do KS so it's a biased opinion.

[/quote] i've never been ksed by a DB... it's always mostly been NWs LOL OT: -New Class: Dual Blades (requires a large amount of nx) -New item system: Potential and Enhancement (both are extremely hard to explain), causing mass deflation of Chaos Scrolls -Event: The Visitors (Aliens are invading and you have to help stop them). The problem is, Nexon glitched it on friday, released the Visitors Part 2 too early, and then cleaned it up, but left unkillable aliens in almost every map, which cancel out all monster spawns. Only Marksmen and people who have Bing/Visitor equips from Friday's glitch can kill them, which makes training very hard/impossible. -Pam's song: It's like a 100% success rate white scroll, and can be bought for 20k nx in the Cash Shop. People are making more and more perfect items by the second... -Dragon Lord Snack Attack: You get 9 different snacks from Gachapon, and Dragon Lord (which is actually Pink Bean with a dragon hat and fake wings on sticks) will fly down to your map and drop several boxes. You have 10 seconds to pick a box (they all look alike, so it doesn't matter which) and you can get Timeless gear from it. -Pink Bean's First Defeat: Windia just beat Pink Bean with about 9 minutes left. Rocks of Time and Timeless weapons are now in the market =D (except for the fact that there's only, like, 10...) -50% Scrolls Event (an exploit intended by Nexon): In an event, Arans could get 50% 2h Weapon scrolls (not just PAs, ALL 2h weapons, so claws, guns, knuckles, bows, etc. are affected) just by levelling to 10 and getting 1st job. With all the new scrolls, people were getting more godly weapons. Nexon pretended not to notice the mass deflation of godly weapons for TWO WHOLE WEEKS, and after Pam's song came out, their intentions were clear: First, get everyone to stock up on 50% Scrolls for pretty much all weapons. Then, they release the annoyingly expensive Pam's Song, which everyone rushes to buy because Pam's Song + 50% scrolls = Good items = Lots of profit for Nexon.
