Outlaw Build Question

Hi everyone, so I hit outlaw pretty recently (almost level 79 now) and so I maxed burst fire of course, and then was talking to some guildies and they told me to get max ice splitter, so I did that and now have 5 SP points into that, however, since I will be sniping newties soon, is it better to put the points into something else? I was also thinking of slapping one point into Gaviota. Any advice please?

I maxed Flamethrower because it's actually an attack. Useful as a mild mob skill since it's much quicker than Torpedo (I use it to finish). You also get more of a boost from maxing Flamethrower as opposed to Ice Splitter. (8% vs. 12%) That said, it really doesn't matter. The damage difference is tiny and the damage they deal is vastly overshadowed by Torpedo anyway. The damage for Flamethrower isn't like poison, it's based on your own damage dealt.

i regretted getting octo first. if i had put points into IS training would have been much faster for me. i suggest IS then octo since octo really doesnt help that much while newting. if it takes you 10 hits to kill it will still take 10 hits with octo :/ i currently have max burst, max ice, 22 octo (i think), 1 gave, 1 homing, 1 FT

Hi! i know you :P! DEFFINENTLY get IS to 4 sec freeze then get octo maxed then max ice. Its by far the better option bc even though you can kill 1 newtie faster with octo you wont be able to take on 2 effeciently until you get 4 sec freeze IS. It will speed up your leveling for sure when you can take on 2 newts early. hope this helps. Btw i did octo first and really regreted it ^^

I maxed Ice and gav. I found Gav much more useful.

If you go to Himes and use Flamethrower and Ice Spitter macro it is pretty good mob. ...downside is you need Blaze capsule and Ice capsule, also you burn MP way fast. You hit about 3k with Ice Spitter and 4k with Flamethrower plus the burn effect. It helps me tons at himes. :O
