Does anybody play as the opposite gender?

I'm actually male in real life but my main is female. However, I use both male and female characters.

i make male chars cus the armor is easier to find. also, they're hardly ever a main playing char.

I personally think it's weird to play a female character when I am in fact a guy. I know a ton of people in my previous guilds and buddy list who are ladies or gentlemen in real life but play the opposite gender in the game. I don't ridicule them for it, but it's a bit weird to talk to a male character in game, talking a ton about guy stuff and when you get closer, find out a girl was playing behind the computer screen the whole time. When the truth came out, she started nagging me about being a pervert, when I am not. It's just guy talk. Some girls don't understand, and vice versa, some guys don't understand. There's things I can say to a girl, and things I can only say to guys. It's just how I am. I don't know how other people work, but this is me.

Well I like to make a male character simply because their equipments are easier to obtain (It really is ridiculously hard to get decent female equipments unless you scroll it yourself -_-") . Of course I ask some of my male friends in real life if I can play their characters for fun, since they're like level 100+. However, I noticed that a lot of them, have female characters. Some of them say that the only reason why they have a female character is because it's their apq mules. But, why would one of my friends of dress one of his female character up with nx (perma nx o_o) and level it to level 6x(I haven't bothered checking out for a while)?

I don't know exactly why I like playing as females. Maybe because I have a feminine side, or maybe because I like playing as someone I'm not. But I also don't just play as a different gender, I also play as different ethnicities....

I always use my gender, Male. I've never made a female because I don't enjoy crossdressing.
