| Hey Basil, I've been getting numerous mixed opinions about what will happen to out beloved Facestompers/Stormcasters/Pacs/ (Any other significant attack weps) after the big bang patch. Apparently, there shall be a new damage formula in place that will render these exceptionally expensive items outdated and therefore useless. Does anyone know if attack gear + potential gear (Example, stormcaster gloves) will be less beneficial than level 100 gloves with pure % boosts? Any relevant responses will be appreciated <3.. Not being a damage ho or anything, I just want to have an idea of how concurrent investments will play a role in the future (: Thankies |

| Let's think about it. You have a 120 attack weapon, and level 10 BoF. So you have 130 weapon attack. You would need an additional 13 weapon attack for a 10% increase in damage. 26 for a 20% increase in damage. Or... if you got 10% MainStat, that's 10% more damage right there. If you spend a few hours hunting monsters, as I've done, I'm sure that you can get decent +% equips. I spent 8 hours over 4 days hunting for said equips on 2x drop, and I've managed to get +24% to my main stat. I know, I know , that's very, very lucky. But do you get my point? I spent 8 hours on 2x drop to get 24% to my Main Stat, which with 130 weapon attack, would mean 31.2 additional weapon attack for the same boost. What's more feasible to you? Before I get sarcastically flamed by someone; A mixture of good attack and good stat%+ equips is the best, as they will complement/scale-to eachother. |

[/quote] Thing is wouldn't it be a lot harder to get a high % stat on an equips such as FS,SCG, Or PAC? Since they're all lvl 50 it would be harder to match up with a lvl 71+ item with good % right? For a 10 att PAC to match a 15% luk cape for me I would also need like 6-10% luk or something for it to be even. That would also cost a lot more meso, and the gap would widen as I level up too =O |
